Overview of Professional Experience
- Currently, a contract real estate analyst in Southwestern Ontario, since 2006.
- Integral team member of large scale appraisal projects for Ontario Power Generation (Bruce to Milton transmission lines) and Ministry of Transportation (Hwys 69, 11 and Berriedale Road re-alignment).
Jay has an extensive financial background as a mortgage lender. This experience in real estate risk analysis has given him a clear understanding of the appraisal industry. Jay is also a candidate member of the AIC, progressing towards his professional appraisal designation [AACI], and is working with a designated AIC co-signor as part of his professional development. Jay has a broad range of experience including standard commercial, multi-family & industrial property types, with a focus on agricultural, service station and small scale retirement home properties. Other key projects include estate, expropriation, and partnership dissolution valuations along with receivership & asset management valuations.
Jay is available to most of Southern Ontario, and includes, but is not limited to, Huron, Bruce, Grey, Perth and Wellington & Waterloo Counties.
